According to an Ex West Ham United employee, there has been no change regarding Declan Rice, despite the announcement taking its time. According to the source, Rice will first send a goodbye message to his boyhood club West Ham before being unveiled as a new Arsenal player “Friday or Saturday”. This is good for Mikel Arteta, since it means Rice can travel on the pre-season tour.


According to Ben Jacobs of GIVEMESPORT, Arsenal are still expected to be active for the remainder of the transfer window, having already spent around £200m. However, as expected, the club is more likely to prioritise selling players rather than signing new players.
